GP
P1 – choose Q7 “Air travel should be discouraged, not promoted. To what extent do you agree?” This is similar to N03 if I’m not wrong, so shld pass
P2 – was difficult, the topic “The Past” turned me off. [DANGER ZONE]
Maths
Both papers were pretty alright, esp P2 stats. Found some mistakes here and there, that should not cost much in total. Grade A perhaps
Chem
P1 – 35/40 is not a problem, but i don’t have the answers. Mine were BAADC …
P2 – Easy, except for deductive inorganic so minus abt 5-7 marks
P3 - did Q2-5. Q2 lose abt 10m. haiya. Total score: 64/80 ard there
Econs
P1 – CSQ 1 was a bit tougher, due to some interpretation problem regarding the qn (dd, ss). I was surprised Cambridge like demand and supply theory so much this year. CSQ 2 was what was expected, but did not do the globalisation qn that is worth 12 marks, well enough.
P2 – Did Q1, 4, 5. 4 is of course the most popular qn. Q1 and 5 shld secure ard 13-15 marks each, due to low familiarity esp Q5 on multiplier, PED X and M and crowding-out. SA bit disappointed as externalities and monopoly, int EOS, merger type did not come out. Sob sob.
Thus able to secure a B, Heng heng then A.
Physics (H1)
P1 – quite simple. standard was lowered by a lot compared to 2007 P1. Yeah
P2 – Data-base qn on quantum was difficult. My brain could not process all the info… the rest were pretty alright. able to get an A.
